Congratulations to our colleagues at Intrinsic!
This morning our colleagues at Intrinsic had their first product keynote, which you can watch here. We are thrilled to congratulate Intrinsic on the launch of the Intrinsic platform and their new product Flowstate! We are pleased to see that our former Open Robotics colleagues are helping Intrinsic democratize access to robotics and that they are making progress towards this mission with the help of both ROS and Gazebo.
Intrinsic's new product, Flowstate, is a software tool that allows users to program robots using a human-friendly graphical user interface. Flowstate should allow anyone to program a robot, regardless of their level of technical expertise, something that many ROS users have requested over the years. We are excited about the potential of Intrinsic's technology to simplify the way we interact with robots, and bring new features to the ROS and Gazebo communities. We believe that their platform and product have the potential to make robots more accessible and useful for a wide range of applications, and that ROS and Gazebo users will now have a way to share their works with a larger developer audience. Better yet, all this is happening while the Open Robotics team at Intrinsic continues to make major contributions to the forthcoming ROS 2 Iron Irwini release, the upcoming Gazebo release, and Open-RMF.
We are proud to be a partner of Intrinsic and we look forward to working with them to develop the next generation of robotics technology.
Congratulations again to Intrinsic on this exciting milestone!
