OPEN ROBOTICS ANNOUNCES SOLD-OUT ROSCON 2024

San Jose, CA:  The Open Source Robotics Foundation (OSRF) is pleased to announce that the thirteenth edition of ROSCon, to be held in Odense, Denmark, from October 21-23, 2024, is entirely sold out.  The event is expected to host 985 attendees, 46 sponsors, and 28 exhibitors.

Representatives of all 45 current Open Source Robotics Alliance (OSRA) member organizations, including Platinum members Intrinsic, NVIDIA, and Qualcomm, are also expected to attend.

ROSCon, the annual developer conference for the ROS and robotics community, is expected to have the largest edition of this event.  The 3-day conference includes a Workshop and Networking Day before two days of technical talks and exhibitions.  Conference content includes seven workshops, technical presentations, and panels regarding updates on ROS and other open-source projects under the stewardship of the OSRF, as well as new developments on tools and applications and community updates across the ecosystem.

With support from the city of Odense during its Week of Robotics, the OSRF welcomes all stakeholders in the ROS ecosystem to network and learn from each other.  The continued increase in scope and size of ROSCon and all other community events around ROS reflects the growth and importance of this community to robotics and the broader technology sector.

The two days of technical talks will be live-streamed for those who cannot attend in person, and video archives are also made available to the public shortly after the event.
